Note that the solar loader can only be used with solar panels up to the maximum range of services (WP) and below the maximum permissible voltage (VOC). In addition, the controller is not suitable for an input-side connection (+/- solar panels) of wind, water, fuel or engine generators, power supplies, batteries or other power sources.
Solar controller for motorhomes, caravan and boats.
The solar controller is specially designed for use in a motorhome and caravan and is suitable for all lead battery types and brands (acid, gel/dryfit and AGM/fleece batteries). Through intelligent microprocessor control, the batteries are optimally loaded with iU1ou2 characteristics. The solar controller works fully automatically and maintenance-free and offers the following functions:
- Charging output on the on-board battery I, depending on the battery type, 4 charging programs optionally
- Charging output Starter battery II: Separate side charging output with a reduced charging current (24 V / 0.8 A) for support loading and loading of the vehicle starter battery with protection against overloading during long service life.
- The charging voltage is free of tips and regulated so that an overload of the batteries is excluded.
- Two battery charging outputs: automatic charging of the main or on-board battery (board I). Support charge and maintenance of the vehicle starter battery (Start II) with protection against overload.
- Surveillance-free charge: standard protection against battery recharge (if there is too low solar power e.g. dusk, at night, etc.), against overload and overheating.
- Buffer operation: Compliance with the charging characteristics even with simultaneous operation with consumers on the battery.
- Overcharging: regulates the charging current of the battery with too much solar power and full of battery, ensures the highest possible charging status of the battery in the event of electricity consumption.
- "Iu1ou2" charging characteristic: Defined charging voltage increase (U1) prevents harmful acidic layers and ensures compensation load of the individual battery cells, then automatic maintenance charging (U2).
- Occupation filter: Installed, allows the controller to be the problem-free parallel operation with other load sources, wind and benzingenerators, network charging devices, alternators etc. on a battery.
- Connection for temperature sensors: automatic adjustment of the charging voltage to the battery temperature. In the case of cold, a better full load of the weaker battery, in summer temperatures, unnecessary battery launch is avoided.
It is absolutely recommended if the battery is exposed to strong temperature fluctuations, e.g. B. in the engine compartment. - Charging cable compensation: Tension losses on the charging cables are automatically excavated.
- Ready to connect the Votronic Solar display devices LCD-Solar Computer S for optimal control of the system.
