These halogen-free, double-insulated and cross-linked solar cables are suitable for permanent outdoor use to connect grounded and ungrounded photovoltaic systems. They are used both for wiring solar modules to one another and for connecting the individual rows of modules and the inverter. The cable has been tested by TÜV Rheinland according to 2 PfG 1169/08.2007 (PV1-F) type.

XLR-R solar cables from Lapp can basically be laid in protective pipes suitable for burial in the ground if it is ensured that there is no permanent contact with water and waterlogging is safely drained away. The Victron Lynx Distributor (MPN Lyn060102000) is a modular DC collection rail with devices for four DC fuses. It monitors the status of each backup and shows its respective conditions via an LED on the front. The Lynx distributor contains a positive and a negative collective rail and offers a connection for 4 individual DC devices, loads or DC groups. It offers space for individual DC fuses per DC group.

Security indicator LEDs
If you want to use the security indicator LEDs on the Lynx distributor, a connection to a Lynx Shunt is also required. The Lynx Shunt contains the required width of input current supply (8V-70V DC) in order to output the required 5V (4.5-5.5V) electricity requirements of the Lynx distributor conductor plate. The RJ11 cable required for connection is included. The Lynx Shunt has two ports, both of which can be used.
With full functionality, only the central LED shines green. If a fuse is burned (or missing), the LEDs of the central and security cycle shine red. If you do not use all connection points in your DC distribution, reactive fuses may need to be attached to delete the red LEDs.
Fuses
The Lynx distributor uses mega fuses. Please note that some mega fuses are only designed for 36V (suitable for 24V systems). For 48V systems, backups with a nominal voltage of 58/64V must be used.
