The 51.2V/100Ah lithium NG battery from Victron Energy is a high-quality LiFePO4 battery of the latest generation, which is characterized by its high performance and long service life. It enables flexible integration into energy systems and can be connected in series, parallel or in combination to support different configurations. An integrated shunt enables precise monitoring of voltage, current and temperature via the VictronConnect app or a GX device. With a low self-discharge rate of maximum 2% per month, this battery offers a reliable and long-lasting solution for modern energy requirements.

All battery parameters are managed fully automatically by the BMS. The system automatically recognizes the system voltage and the number of batteries, regardless of whether they are operated in parallel, series or series/parallel connection. The Lynx Smart BMS (currently available in the NG 500 A / 1000 A variants) is mandatory and must be purchased separately.

Monitoring and control is carried out via the VictronConnect app (Bluetooth is integrated in all BMS models), a GX communication center or the VRM portal. In addition, the system enables real-time display of battery parameters such as cell status, voltages, currents and temperatures. Firmware updates for the battery are carried out automatically via the BMS.

Tasks of the BMS:

Sends a pre-alarm when the voltage of a battery cell falls below 3.0 V.
Disconnect or switch off the load as soon as the voltage of a battery cell drops below 2.8 V.
Interrupt the charging process if the voltage of a battery cell exceeds 3.6 V or if the temperature is outside the permissible range (too high or too low).
