The Victron Cerbo GX MK3 is the central monitoring and control unit for Victron energy systems in boats, motorhomes and solar installations. It brings together data from compatible inverters, chargers, solar charge controllers, battery monitors and battery management systems (BMS), making system information accessible through a single interface.
### Central System Monitoring
Monitor connected devices locally or remotely via the Victron Remote Management (VRM) Portal. When paired with an optional GX Touch display, the Cerbo GX MK3 also provides a local interface for system monitoring and supported control functions, without requiring a separate computer.
### Powerful Hardware and Connectivity
The Cerbo GX MK3 features a 64-bit computing platform based on the TI AM6254 quad-core processor, with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB flash storage. Its processing capacity provides additional resources for larger installations and applications such as Node-RED and Signal K.
Connectivity includes two VE.Bus RJ45 sockets, three VE.Direct ports, two independent VE.Can interfaces with two RJ45 sockets each, three USB ports, HDMI, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a microSD slot.
Additional connections include four tank sensor inputs, four temperature inputs, four digital inputs and two relays. The supply voltage range is 8 to 70 V DC.
### Integration with Victron Equipment
MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers connect via VE.Bus. Compatible SmartSolar charge controllers can connect via VE.Direct or VE.Can, depending on the model. Supported batteries and BMS units can be integrated using the appropriate communication interfaces and supported protocols.
### Cerbo GX MK3 Compared with MK2
The main difference between the Cerbo GX MK3 and the MK2 is the new 64-bit computing platform. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the core GX monitoring functions were already available on the MK2. The additional processing capacity of the MK3 is particularly useful for larger systems and demanding applications.
The Victron Cerbo GX MK3 is suitable for installations that require centralized monitoring, access to operating data and control of supported system functions across a range of marine, mobile and stationary energy applications.
