The Victron MPPT 150/70-TR belongs to the large family of BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers without Bluetooth and offers a wide performance spectrum for the demanding user. Ultra-fast power tracking and automatic adjustment of the MPP voltage for partial shading are just two of the many highlights of this device class. The devices in the 150/45Tr to 150/100Tr classes are also available in a version with MC4 connections on the solar side of the charge controller instead of screw terminals. This model is also capable of parallel operation with other controllers of the same type.
VE-Direct options for programming, real-time data and history display
Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, Macbooks and other devices can be connected to the Bluetooth Smart Dongles and the MPPT app or the GX Color Control via VE.Direct, for example.
Please note that Bluetooth Smart Dongles and GX Color Control are separate items that are not included with the charge controller but can be purchased from us as an option.
Advanced maximum power point detection for partial shading
In the event of partial shading, there may be two or more maximum power points (MPP) on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to adjust to a local MPP. However, this may not be the optimum MPP. The innovative algorithm of the BlueSolar device will always maximize the energy yield by adjusting to the optimal MPP.

In particular in overcast conditions, when the light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves the energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.

VE.Direct data communication port
VE.Direct in text mode transmits all important parameters to other devices connected to the charge controller every second and thus offers the possibility of communication with additional devices such as the Bluetooth Smart Dongle or the GX Color Control Panel from Victron.
