The Offgridtec Battery Cable Set 70 mm² 1 m M8 Black/Red is designed for high-performance battery and DC connections. With a conductor cross-section of 70 mm², this cable set is suitable for appropriately sized battery and DC connections. The 2-meter-long cables provide additional clearance between the battery, fuse, busbar, inverter, or other components. The required current-carrying capacity and fuse rating must be selected to match the specific installation.
Fine-stranded copper conductor for flexible installation
The conductor consists of oxygen-free bare copper and is composed of 1,406 individual wires. This keeps the cable comparatively flexible despite its large cross-sectional area. The outer diameter is 17 ± 0.1 mm, and the minimum bending radius is 102 mm. The UV-resistant PVC insulation is designed for an operating temperature range of -40 to +105 °C.
Pre-terminated with M8 connectors
Both cables are already equipped with M8 connectors at both ends. Where connection points are compatible, this eliminates the need for separate termination with cable lugs. The black and red versions also make it easier to clearly identify the cables within the installation.
