The Victron remote on-off cable is required for devices that are to be switched on and off via the remote control port and require a reverse signal voltage to switch to on. In this case, it is possible to switch between the load output of the BlueSolar

charge controller and the Phoenix inverter up to 350W in order to control it remotely via the charge controller . This is the case, for example, with the smaller inverters in the Phönix series up to 350W power. The reversed voltage allows the cable to be connected between the Victron BlueSolar MPPT series charge controllers and the Victron Phönix inverters, for example. You would therefore have the option of switching the inverter on and off via the MPPT controller. However, this only works with models that also have a load output. In this constellation, the controller not only serves as an ON/OFF switch but also as protection against deep discharge of the battery by the inverter.
