The Victron MPPT 75/15 (without Bluetooth !) belongs to the large family of BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers and, like its larger siblings, it already offers ultra-fast power tracking and can therefore increase the yield of your solar system.

Smartphones, tablets and other devices can be connected to the Bluetooth Smart Dongles and the MPPT app or the GX Color Control via VE.Direct, for example. VE.Direct data communication port
VE.Direct in text mode transmits all important parameters to other devices connected to the charge controller every second and thus offers the possibility of communication with additional devices such as the Bluetooth Smart Dongle or the GX Color Control Panel from Victron. The VE.Direct connection is intended for products where full CANbus integration (VE-Direct) would be too expensive.
Battery Life Algorithm to increase battery life
If the solar charge controller is not able to charge the battery to its full capacity within one day, the status of the battery constantly switches back and forth between "partially charged" and "end of discharge". This operating mode (no regular full charging) is ideal for small lead-acid batteries, but such irregular charging and discharging leads to damage to the battery after just a few months and the service life is sometimes significantly shortened.
The Battery Life algorithm monitors the state of charge of the battery and, if necessary, raises the threshold value for disconnecting the load day by day (i.e. the load is disconnected early), the load is disconnected earlier) until the energy gained is sufficient to charge the battery to almost 100%. From this point, the threshold for disconnecting the load is modulated so that charging to almost 100% is achieved approximately once a week.
