The 12V 170AH Super Cycle Battery Victron Energy (MPN BAT412117081) is based on the latest findings from the electrochemistry of batteries and thus offers significantly more cycles and a high resistance to deep discharge. The use of a super cycle battery is recommended if an occasional discharge is 100% (deep discharge) or more frequent discharge to 60-80%.

Truly innovative: the Victron AGM 12V 170AH

Victrons AGM Super Cycle Batteries contain the latest innovations from current further developments in the electrochemistry of batteries. The paste on the positive plates does not become so soft, even if the battery has been discharged 100% several times. In addition, the battery of the battery was supplemented by a few additives that significantly reduce sulfating in the event of a deep discharge. The bottom line is that the Ultra Deep Cycle batteries create significantly more cycles through these technical innovations and therefore achieve a older age.

Characteristics of the Victron 12V 170AH Super Deep Cycle AGM battery

Victron part number: BAT412117081

Battery tension: 12V

Battery capacity: 170AH

Productive, even after three hundred 100%deep discharge

Lifespan at 20 ° C 7-12 years

Cycles at 20 ° C and 40% discharge: 1000

Cycles at 20 ° C and 60% discharge: 700

Cycles at 20 ° C and 80% discharge: 500

Cycles at 20 ° C and 100% discharge: 300

low inner resistance

Smaller and lighter than conventional deep cycle batteries

Very good tolerance of high -stream discharge

Weight: 45 kg, dimensions (BXLXH): 17.2 x 33.6 x 28 cm

Exceptional performance with repeated deep discharge

Test have shown that the Super Cycle Battery is still powerful even after at least three hundred 100 %deep discharges. In the test, the batteries were discharged daily to 10.8 V with i = 0.2 C20. Then they were left in the unloaded state for two hours and then charged again with i = 0.2 C20. Most batteries are damaged if they are left 100 times for two hours in the discharged condition, but not the Victron 12V 170AH Super Cycle Battery.

Super cycle batteries: smaller and lighter

Another advantage of the new chemical composition is that the batteries are smaller compared to our previous low cycle AGM batteries and weigh less.

Typical areas of application of the

Applications with high-stream discharge, for example solar systems with inverter on the solar battery

Applications where there can be complete deep discharge from time to time or more frequent discharge up to 60-80% can be expected

Perfectly used as a starter battery

Drive battery

Ray rudder, winds etc.

Low self -discharge

Thanks to the processing of high-pure materials and lead-calcium grids in the Super Cycle AGM 12V 170AH IIST, ensured that the self-discharge of this battery is particularly low. This prevents the battery from unloading itself too quickly for a long time without charging.
