Restrictions on use
Maximum capacity: The device can process solar modules with an output of up to 140 watts and an open-circuit voltage of 30 V (Voc). If several solar modules are to be connected, only a parallel connection is supported, not a series connection (solar modules).
Battery settings: Consult your battery manufacturer's manual to find the appropriate settings for your battery. The default settings should be sufficient for most battery types, although some manufacturers may have specific charging requirements.
IP45 rating: The device is protected against light water splashes, but should not be immersed in water.
Recommended battery size: For practical reasons, it is recommended to keep the total battery size below 300-400Ah. Although the device is compatible with larger batteries, charging times will be considerably longer. Take into account the reduced solar radiation in winter when using the device for trickle charging.
