The Forest-RB PLUS serves as the central enclosure for Pytes’ E-Box 48100R-C battery storage system. By accommodating up to six batteries, it enables the creation of compact and well-organized storage systems. The enclosed housing protects the installed components while ensuring a tidy installation. The integrated busbar enables the individual modules to be connected centrally. This simplifies internal cabling and facilitates a structured connection to the inverter. The manufacturer’s schematic diagram shows the direct connection of the batteries to the connected inverter via the integrated busbar.
Robust Construction for Indoor Use
The enclosure is made of galvanized SGCC steel and is designed for floor mounting. Convection cooling operates without active fans, which eliminates additional noise and reduces the need for components that require frequent maintenance. With an IP20 protection rating, it is intended for dry indoor environments. This protection rating means that the enclosure is protected against the ingress of solid foreign objects with a diameter of 12.5 mm or greater, but offers no protection against water. Therefore, the battery cabinet should only be installed in suitable indoor locations.
