The PYLONTECH Lithium Battery 48V H48074 3.55 kWh is a model of special high-voltage batteries. Each battery works with 48V. In order to achieve a high voltage, we therefore have to connect several batteries in series to increase their voltage and thus be able to work with high-voltage inverters, which usually require a battery voltage of at least 180V.
For each separately available Pylontech BMS module, up to seven high-voltage batteries can be connected in series. The smallest high-voltage battery system that can be installed consists of four high-voltage batteries and a BMS, which also fit perfectly in U16 battery racks. If you want to install more batteries, a larger rack would be necessary. Several groups of seven batteries can be connected in parallel, they are called "PowerCube H1".
It is a perfect solution for installations where high power is required, for example solar systems with three-phase hybrid inverters. The great advantage of the PYLONTECH solution is its compatibility with many inverter brands on the market, a very attractive price due to its characteristics and a modular format that can be installed in a 19-inch rack.
Features of the PYLONTECH Lithium Battery 48V H48074 3.55 kWh high voltage
Lithium batteries are characterized by a long service life, as they have more than 5,000 charge cycles and a depth of discharge of 90%, so they have a very long service life compared to monobloc, AGM, stationary and gel electrolyte batteries.
It includes various communication protocols (RS485/CAN) that allow the batteries to communicate with each other and with a BMS (battery management system). It is a sealed module designed for indoor installation and provides all functions without maintenance throughout its service life.
Necessary accessories for PYLONTECH Lithium Battery 48V H48074 3.55 kWh
These batteries do not have an internal BMS module
(Battery Management System). This requires an external PYLONTECH BMS module to monitor the state of charge of the batteries and prevent them from being discharged below the maximum depth of discharge specified by the manufacturer, which extends the service life of the batteries.
