The Pylontech Fidus Pro FB-L-5,12-EU-Pro 5.12 kWh battery module (MPN: FB-L-5,12-EU-Pro) is a modular low-voltage energy storage system with a nominal voltage of 51.2 V and a usable capacity of 4.86 kWh. The Fidus Pro FB-L-5.12-EU-Pro has a rated capacity of 5.12 kWh and provides up to 4.86 kWh of usable capacity at a 95% depth of discharge. The maximum charge and discharge current is 100 A. For short-term higher power demands, currents of 103 to 120 A are permitted for up to 2 minutes, and 121 to 200 A for up to 15 seconds. The battery management system dynamically adjusts the permissible currents based on the battery’s current state.
Smart Heating for Low Temperatures
The Pro version features integrated cell-level Smart Heating. This enables charging and discharging within a temperature range of -20 to +55 °C. At low or high temperatures, the battery management system can reduce the permissible current accordingly. With an IP65 rating, the housing is protected against dust and water jets. Additionally, Pylontech is certified to corrosion protection class C5-M.
Modular, Scalable Battery System
The Fidus Pro FB-L-5.12-EU-Pro is designed for building scalable low-voltage energy storage systems. Up to 20 battery modules can be used within a single battery group, and up to 6 strings are supported. This allows the storage capacity to be adapted to different system requirements. Installation options include wall mounting, floor mounting, and rack mounting.
CAN and RS485 for System Integration
CAN and RS485 are available for communication with compatible inverters and other system components. An LED display enables local status monitoring. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are available as options. Before pairing with a specific inverter, the manufacturer’s approval or compatibility should be verified.
