LFP Series
This robust next-generation battery is based on LiFePo4 chemistry. The advantage of this lithium iron phosphate technology is its higher energy density. The modules are very compact and lightweight, with high charging and discharging capabilities. The LFP series can be used for a variety of applications, such as small systems with just one module or large systems with 16 modules in series.

Battery Management Controller
Protecting, monitoring, and controlling a battery system is crucial for creating a safe, reliable, and user-friendly system. The MG Master LV or HV serves as the safety and control unit of the battery system. It protects the connected battery modules from overcharging, deep discharging, over and under temperature, and ensures the necessary cell balancing. In addition to the safety function, the MG Master LV or HV monitors and tracks other relevant data to provide insight into the battery status and energy consumption. The CAN-bus protocol of the MG battery system can be used for communication with other devices and multifunction displays (MFDs) via NMEA2000 and web interface. The MG Master LV and HV ensure a simple and proper installation. A reliable system is guaranteed thanks to the built-in safety components.

Applications
The LFP series is designed for use in a variety of applications such as mobile, marine, and off-grid. For example, to drive electric motors for hydraulic units or electric hybrid drive systems. System flexibility is one of the main features of all MG products. A combination of LFP series batteries with one of the Master BMS creates a powerful system for a variety of applications. Redundant systems can be created by paralleling multiple Master BMS to increase the reliability and capacity of the system.
Easy Installation
The combination of LFP series batteries with the MG Master LV (or MG Master HV) results in a compact system with less wiring and fewer external components. The MG Master LV combines battery monitoring and control, DC distribution, fuse holder, and shunt in one device, saving installation time and space.
Safety
Each battery module has an integrated battery management system (BMS). This is an intelligent electronic module (Slave BMS) that measures all cell voltages and temperatures to control balancing at both the battery cell and module level. The battery modules communicate via a galvanically isolated CAN bus with the MG Master LV or HV (Master BMS), which collects and monitors the status of all battery modules. If the measured values of a battery module exceed the limit, the MG Master automatically takes action to protect the connected battery modules.
