The Hoymiles HiFlow 2000 Pro HMS-2000-4WB microinverter (MPN: HMS-2000-4WB) is a 4-in-1 microinverter for mini and balcony solar systems with up to four PV modules. The HMS-2000-4WB features four independent MPPT trackers, each with one PV input. An MPPT continuously adjusts the electrical operating point of the connected solar module so that the available solar power can be fully utilized. The four separate trackers allow for independent control of each individual module and are particularly useful, for example, when modules have different orientations or varying irradiance conditions. The maximum input current per input is 16 A, and the maximum short-circuit current is 25 A. The MPPT voltage range extends from 16 to 60 V, and the maximum input voltage is 65 V. Hoymiles specifies a typical module power output of 400 to 670+ W per module.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the S-Miles Home App
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built directly into the HMS-2000-4WB. The microinverter can connect to the cloud via 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi, while Bluetooth can be used for a local connection to the S-Miles Home app. This enables both local and cloud-based system configurations as well as monitoring of operating data.
Flex-S3 Plug-and-Play for the AC Connection
For the AC connection, the HMS-2000-4WB uses the Hoymiles Flex-S3 plug-and-play system. The included cable connects the microinverter to the power grid and is equipped with a Schuko plug. The cable is 5 m long with a conductor cross-section of 1 mm².
Robust Housing and Passive Cooling
The HMS-2000-4WB measures 331 × 218 × 40.6 mm and weighs 5.6 kg. Heat dissipation occurs via natural convection without a fan. The permissible ambient temperature range is from -40 to +65 °C. With an IP67 rating, the housing is designed for outdoor use. The topology employs a galvanically isolated RF transformer.
