The LE300 Smart Battery System is a lithium expansion to increase the capacity and performance of the lead battery, as well as the efficiency and service life of the overall system.

The lithium expansion battery takes over most charging cycles while the lead battery works as a cheap backup storage. The lead battery is loaded with a higher priority, with the lithium battery taking over the surplus energy. When unloading, the lithium battery is primarily unloaded. As a result, the lifespan of the lead battery is significantly extended. The LE300 recognizes the voltage of the lead battery and automatically begins to support the lead battery with a maximum current thickness of 12.5 A. Larger loads are supplied in parallel by the lead battery and the lithium battery, which contains both batteries with less electricity.

Over- and under temperature protection, heating, charge & discharge	In the lithium battery, the temperature sensor prevents the charging below -5 ° C or above 55 ° C cell temperature. Charge begins as soon as the cell temp. is higher than -5 ° C. The device has an integrated heating system that is activated between - 20 ° C and 10 ° C cell temperature. Discharge is possible between -10 ° C and 60 ° C cell temperature. For a higher battery life, the system runs below -10 ° C in pure bleim mode at a cell temperature.
