The Growatt MOD 6KTL3-X grid inverter is a 3-phase string inverter and ensures simple and user-friendly operation of large solar systems thanks to its high performance and compact size. The inverter is characterized by a high efficiency of up to 98.6%, which makes it a powerful and flexible device when configuring the system. In addition to its 2 independent MPPT inputs and a maximum PV power of 9000W, the inverter also has an OLED touch display, which is an advantage for simple and uncomplicated operation.

Two MPP trackers for optimum solar yields
The Maximum Power Point Tracker technology generates the best possible yield from a solar system. The MPPT determines the optimum ratio between irradiance, module temperature and solar cell type over the course of the day. The two MPP trackers in the MOD inverter allow the optimum operating point for the two PV strings to be optimized separately. The two trackers work independently of each other and so, for example, shading on one string would have no influence on the second.

Active safety with AFCI function
An Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter is an arc fault protection device. It protects circuits in the event of arc faults and acts as a circuit breaker against contact faults in low-voltage installations. In addition to its protection, it analyzes current and voltage fluctuations using digital signal processing and interrupts circuits in the event of fault signatures. Colloquially, the AFCI is also known as a fire protection switch, as incoming signals can prevent overheating at poor contact points or in the event of arcing between two conductors.

AC&DC Type II SPD
AC and DC Type II SPDs (Surge Protective Devices) protect grid inverters from overvoltages and are an important component for the safety and reliability of solar systems. AC SPDs protect the alternating current side and DC SPDs the direct current side of the inverter. These protective devices discharge excessive voltage pulses that can be caused by lightning strikes, switching operations in the power grid or other events.

Growatt monitoring platform
The Growatt monitoring platform can be used with the optional Shine series accessories. This is available as a smartphone app (for iOS and Android) as well as a web version. The Shine accessory must be purchased separately, use of the platform is free of charge. You can configure and monitor all your Growatt products via Shine, and it is also possible to display self-consumption and trends.
