Maximum Power Point Tracking
MPPT technology optimizes the relationship between voltage and current to generate maximum energy. The MID inverter uses MPPT to extract the maximum power from the solar modules, which is particularly useful when light intensity fluctuates. The wide MPPT voltage range of the inverter enables efficient energy generation and the use of a large number of solar modules.
Arc detection (AFCI)
If your PV modules, plugs or cables are incorrectly installed or damaged, so-called arcs can occur, which can cause fires. To quickly prevent such fires, Growatt has developed an optional arc detection function. This function can be installed and ensures a higher level of safety for you and your PV system.
Intelligent string monitoring
Thanks to the ability to take targeted action against faults in individual strings, intelligent string monitoring significantly increases efficiency. For example, if panels or contacts and cabling are defective, the system reacts immediately.
Growatt monitoring platform
The Growatt monitoring platform can be used by using the optional accessory from the Shine series. This is available both as a smartphone app for iOS and Android and as a web version. The Shine accessory must be purchased separately, but use of the platform is free of charge. With Shine, you can configure and monitor all your Growatt products and view your own consumption and trends.
