The Victron Energy Ve.bus BMS V2 is a battery management system (BMS) of the new generation, which for the connection and protection of one or more lithium smart batteries with 12.8 V & 25.6 V (LIFEPO4 or LFP) in systems with inverter or inverter/charging device was developed with Ve.Bus communication. It monitors and protects the batteries from over and under tension of each individual cell and also from over and under temperatures. Depending on the status of the battery (s), the BMS is:
Create a pre -alarm signal to warn of the impending undervoltage of the cell.
Deactivate the reversal to Ve.Bus inverter or inverter/charger via Ve.Bus and switch off other loads via the clamp "separate load" in the event of an undervoltage of the cell.
Deactivate the loading in Ve.Bus interrichmenters or interverters/chargers via Ve.Bus and deactivate other chargers via the "Separate" to "load" the clamp in the event of a cell overvoltage, lower temperature or over temperature.

Switching clamps to the remote-controlled on and off.
Possibility to deactivate Ve.direct and Ve.CAN solar charyer via a GX device.
Possibility of controlling the Ve.Bus inverter/charger from several devices, such as the Digital Multi Control, the Ve.Bus Smart Dongle and/or a GX device.
Clamps for additional inputs and outputs that enable a GX device to remain powered in the event of a system shutdown.
It protects every single cell of a Victron lithium-battery smart. For a reliable and safe operation, a Lifepo₄ battery must be monitored and protected against over and under tension of each individual cell as well as from over and under temperature. The Victron lithium smart batteries include integrated cell voltage monitoring, cell voltage balance and temperature monitoring. If the cell voltage or the battery temperature is outside the permissible area, this is transmitted to the BMS using two BMS cables with M8 round plugs. In a multi-battery system, the BMS cables of the individual batteries are switched into series (Daisy Chain), the first and the last BMS cable connected to the BMS.
