Note that the solar loader can only be used with solar panels up to the maximum range of services (WP) and below the maximum permissible voltage (VOC). In addition, the controller is not suitable for an input-side connection (+/- solar panels) of wind, water, fuel or engine generators, power supplies, batteries or other power sources.

MPP Solar controller for high-quality motorhomes, caravan and boats. Votronic Solar controller of the "MPP" series (Maximum-Power-Point) with "iu1ou2" charging characteristic are switched as a link between the solar panel (s) and battery (s). In the case of MPP technology, the controller automatically determines the maximum performance yield (MPP) of the solar modules several times per second. It then transforms the voltage surplus of the solar module to a higher charging current for the battery (realized by high-frequency switch-regulator technology with high efficiency). This charging current gain ensures shorter loading times and the best possible use of the solar system. The MPP Solar controllers work fully automatically, are maintenance-free and offer the following functions:

  • MPP-charging current increase compared to conventional controls by using the latest controller technology (microprocessor) by 10 % to 30 % (efficiency> 95 %). The performance plus is particularly evident in the cooler season and z. B. for high foglages, lower and diffuse lighting (wintering).
  • For loading lead-gel, lead-agm, lead-acid batteries or LIFEPO4 complete batteries (with integrated BMS, balancing, safety ratio and approval!) The specified nominal voltages and the supply of consumers connected to these batteries in firmly installed Systems with the specified battery capacities and charging programs.
  • The charging voltage is free of tips and regulated so that an overload of the batteries is excluded.
  • Two battery charging outputs: Automatic charging of the main supply board battery (on-board I) as well as support load and loading load (max. 1 a) of the vehicle starter battery (start II) with protection against overload.
  • Surveillance-free charge: standard protection against overload, overheating, prevalence and battery recharge (if there is too low solar power e.g. dusk, at night, etc.).
  • Parallel/buffer operation: Compliance with the charging requirements even with the simultaneous operation of consumers.
  • Overcharging: regulates the charging current of the battery with too much solar power and full of battery, ensures the highest possible charging status of the battery in the event of electricity consumption.
  • "Iu1ou2" charging characteristic: Defined charging voltage increase (U1) prevents harmful acidic layers (lead) and ensures compensation charge of the individual battery cells (lead and lith.), Then automatic maintenance load (U2).
  • Charging cable compensation: Tension losses on the charging cables are automatically excavated.
  • Burial network filter: Problemless parallel operation with wind and motorgenerators, network charging devices, alternators etc.
  • Measurement output for EBL, possibly existing electrical block in the living area of ​​the vehicle: enables the convenient use of a (solar) current display built into the electric block to check the solar system.
