Victron Energy's Orion Tr-Smart DC-DC (MPN ORI241236140) is a professional, DC to DC adaptive 3-stage charger with integrated Bluetooth, known in the market as battery-to-battery ( B2B) loaders. The charge booster is suitable for use in dual battery systems in vehicles or on boats where the alternator and starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The charger can be used in 12V or 24V systems and is suitable for both lead and lithium batteries. Models are available up to 400W and unlimited units can be paralleled to increase output power.

You can use any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or other device to monitor, change the settings and update the charger when new software functions become available.
Adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm: constant current - constant voltage - maintenance
- With lead-acid batteries it is important that the recording time is kept short during shallow discharges in order to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the constant voltage duration is automatically extended to ensure that the battery is fully charged.
- For lithium batteries, the recording time is fixed, 2 hours by default.
- Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be selected.
Remote on/off
A remote-controlled on/off switch or a relay contact can be connected to the two-pin connector. Alternatively, the H (right) connection of the two-pin connector can be switched to a battery positive terminal or the L (left) connection of the two-pin connector to the battery negative terminal (or to the body of a vehicle, for example).
