The modular MEGA-Fuse fuse holder from Victron Energy (MPN CIP100200100) with cover is used for the safe installation of DC MEGA-Fuse strip fuses together with up to 5 other shears on a common busbar. This solution is ideal for protecting parallel connected Multiplus or Quattro inverters or inverters from other manufacturers. The fuse holders can be plugged into one another so that all fuse holders on the busbar are firmly anchored in their position. (see image material)
The housing provides solid protection of the fuse from external influences. There are currently two busbar versions that can be used with the modular holder:
Victron Busbar 5 CIP100400060 - for 5 holders of type CIP100200100, max 500A
Victron Busbar 6 CIP100400070 - for 6 holders of type CIP100200100, max 2000A

About the MEGA fuse
MEGA-Fuse type fuses are strip fuses and are screwed to the holder to ensure optimal contact. Corresponding nuts and snap rings are already pre-assembled on the holder.
Mega fuses can protect up to 500A at 32V DC. With the 58V variants up to 300A are possible.
