Victron Lynx Distributor

The Victron Lynx Distributor (MPN LYN060102000) is a modular DC bus bar with provisions for four DC fuses. It monitors the status of each fuse and displays their respective states via a front panel LED. The Lynx Distributor includes a positive and a negative bus bar and provides a connection for 4 individual DC device circuits, loads or DC groups. It offers space for individual DC fuses per DC group.

Fuse indicator LEDs

A connection to a Lynx shunt is also required if you intend to use the fuse indicator LEDs on the Lynx distributor. The Lynx Shunt includes the required wide input power supply (8V - 70V DC) to output the required 5V (4.5V - 5.5V) power requirements of the Lynx Distributor PCB. The RJ11 cable required for the connection is included in the scope of delivery. The Lynx Shunt has two ports, both of which can be used.

When fully functional, only the central LED lights up green. If a fuse is blown (or missing), the central and fuse circuit LEDs will illuminate red. If you are not using all of the connection points in your DC distribution, it may be necessary to fit blanking fuses to clear the red LEDs.

The Lynx distributor uses MEGA fuses. Please note that some MEGA fuses are only rated for 36V (suitable for 24V systems). For 48V systems, fuses rated at 58/64V must be used.
