If additional consumers are only to be switched on when the engine is running (the alternator delivers electricity) or if a charging converter is to be optimally charged during the journey via a charging converter, the D+ contact of the alternator is usually used for control.

The Votronic D+ Simulator Pro creates the control signal by recognizing the Vibrations of the running engine. It works fully automatically and regardless of the loading operation of the alternator and is therefore particularly suitable for vehicles that have a alternator management, this can be, for example, vehicles according to Euro 6 standard. With its low electricity consumption of less than 3MA, it meets the requirements of DIN EN 13976.
