The new MoonRay MPPT charge controllers from SUNBEAMsystem are optimized for use on yachts and motorhomes. They outperform other MPPT types in both perfect and 'real' weather conditions. So even in slightly overcast or partially shaded panels, MoonRay will deliver the maximum possible charge.

The charging starts when the solar cell(s) reach a voltage that is only 0.1 V üabove the battery voltage (sometimes <0.9 V).
With most MPPT charge controllers, the solar panels must be connected in series in order to utilize their full potential. However, most users do not have enough space for such an arrangement. In addition, the performance in a partially shaded environment will be lower than when the same panels are connected in parallel.
With MoonRay, these outdated limitations are a thing of the past. It is designed to make optimum use of single and parallel panels, but also supports 24V systems. The controller maximizes the performance of any modern solar panel (regardless of brand) with the daily fluctuations in solar radiation. Full control
The optional Bluetooth module gives you full control of your system with the SUNBEAMsystem app. It not only provides you with real-time data, but also allows you to combine several MoonRay controllers in one overview. All controllers installed in the system are automatically displayed so that you can check the entire system from your smartphone.
For the user who wants to install many solar panels, MoonRay supports the merging of multiple controllers. Our advanced network application can display all controllers in a single visualization or just the data of a specific controller. The extremely low power consumption (12mA) is industry leading and ensures that no power is wasted.
MoonRay is fully configurable and most settings can be made via the built-in LCD interface. It supports any type of battery. Traditional lead acid and gel charging profiles can be set via the interface.
Advanced charging profiles for batteries such as AGM and lithium can be set via the optional display or the optional app.
The MoonRay is equipped with an advanced safety function. It does not simply switch off if there is a risk of overheating or currents are too high, but instead regulates the energy flow down to a sustainable level. It saves the data, which helps the user to take appropriate measures in the future.
