The Growatt ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage battery (MPN ARK-2.5H-A2) is a LiFePO₄ storage unit with high cycle durability and long service life. The modular, stackable concept allows flexible application for various scenarios and is easy to install. The battery delivers excellent performance under heavy load and, with its IP65 rating, is also suitable for outdoor installation. To prevent overvoltage in the system, a soft-start mechanism is used. The A2 version succeeds the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can be combined with it without issue.

The ARK battery system – versions A1 and A2 combinable

Thanks to the modular concept, the ARK system is flexible and expandable as needed. A battery tower can be built with at least 2 and up to 10 storage modules, and multiple towers can be installed in one system. You can combine the new A2 with the old A1 version without issue. Per tower, a BMS control unit and a cable set to the corresponding inverter are required. For floor installation, an additional battery base per tower is necessary.

The ARK high-voltage storage is compatible with the MIN and MOD-XH, as well as the three-phase SPH and SPA inverters. Depending on the inverter series, a different control unit, cable set, and minimum number of batteries are needed. The ARK-XH system starts with 2 batteries, whereas the ARK-HV system starts with 3.

Flexible Expansion

The Growatt ARK battery system offers high flexibility through expandable configurations ranging from 5.12 kWh to 25.6 kWh. The modular design and use of cables make installation and expansion easy and straightforward. Unlike other battery systems, no battery cabinet is required; only a battery base is needed for stable support.

Soft-start Protection

The soft-start mechanism protects the system from overvoltage. When the battery starts up or is switched on, power is gradually ramped up to prevent damage from a sudden voltage spike, ensuring smooth and safe operation.

High Cycle Lifespan

The Growatt ARK battery modules, with their extremely high cycle lifespan and LiFePO₄ cells, are an ideal storage solution for photovoltaic systems. Whether for grid-connected or island systems, the Growatt storage offers numerous advantages over conventional lead-acid batteries and other lithium technologies.
